Fancy starting the summer of with a BANG...
Yep, its come around again. The biggest and best one night festival right on our doorstep. The Masked Ball is nice and early this year... 1st May infact, and with is being on the back holiday, you will have a whole day to recover! Its packed full with big acts this year and from what I hear, they have some secrets up their sleevezies. So definitely not one to be missed.

My love for the band is already pretty strong, I've seen them live a few times in my life now and they never fail to impress.
Last night they did benefit gig for Oxfam's Haiti earthquake appeal, where last week they actioned off tickets online. In the end, this concert made $572,000 for haiti, with capacity being around 1,300, that makes it about 440 per ticket. Pretty impressive for a bunch of toffs from Oxford.

Dead Mans Bones
In my eyes, there are two types of music video.
One's that are just there because they have to be and play no part in enhancing a song and ones that really pull you in and make you want to watch and listen on to the end. Even if the song isn't that good, a great video will hold your attention thus making you enjoy the song more.
This video follows a mechanical John Wayne walking wishbone along a creep little minture journey. I hope you enjoy.

The Manchester trio pride themselves in creating shimmering, futuristic pop/dance music.
The Director took a brave step on this clip when he decided to head to Ukraine to the site of the "Chernobyl Disaster". Quite a moving clip. No actors ,just an insight to to the people that live there.
